About the 0-52843
0-52843 Reliance TPMA Power Supply Board
The 0-52843 is a printed circuit board component fabricated by Reliance Electric for use within their various drive systems. Most of the 0-52843 boards are marked with the Reliance logo; however, depending on the year of the board’s manufacture and the company structure at that time, the board may also be marked with a logo from ABB or from Baldor-Reliance. In all cases, the PCB will reflect the 52843 part number.
The 0-52843 functions as a Power Supply card. It is fronted by a wide faceplate with a two-screw terminal strip located along the bottom right edge of the panel. The terminal strip is covered by a smaller cover connected by two screws. The screws on the terminal strip are labeled 115 and VAC. These wire in to the board using two black wires connected to metal pins. Beside two screws to lock the board into place within a rack system, there are no other components on the faceplate. This part of the 0-52843 connects to the board portion using three screw connections.
The 0-52843 board is marked with a grid pattern. It is populated by a single large transformer, which is connected to the board using two screws threaded through the transformer’s metal frame. The transformer wires into the board using multiple colored surface wires. Other components on the board include transistors, integrated circuits, diodes, a potentiometer, metal film resistors, and capacitors. Capacitors on the board are made from various materials.
If more detailed information regarding the operation or installation of this board is desired, please refer to publications from Reliance Electric like data sheets, manuals, or user guides.
