About the 0-54201
The 0-54201 is an Auto-Mate Programmable Control Processor Card manufactured by Reliance Electric. The 0-54201 is a long card with the upper edge labeled zero through one hundred and twenty-five. This edge increase by fives and has small tick marks to represent the numbers between the large printed ones. The right side is labeled using the alphabet A through Z then goes to double letters AA through AZ and the Ba through BS. The control card uses forty-two individual integrated circuits. The integrated circuits are the programable controls for this card. Each integrated circuit holds a series of programs and some of the integrated circuits can be reprogrammed if needed. The programs in these integrated circuits are then used to control the circuit board as a whole, hence the name of the card. There are twelve circular varistor resistors, and six dark colored carbon composition resistors. The card also has two transistors and a crystal oscillator. There are three connection points at the bottom edge of the card that are black. There are small metal tags around the entire circuit board, each with there own labels. Here are a few examples, 1RST (H), 3(H), 5(H), 4(H), 6(H), CLR (L), LINE (L), NO (L), TIE (L) COIL (L), NC (L), ENDPRG (L), PO (L), SPACE (L), ATIE (H), P1 (H), P2 (H),ACLR (L), and P3 (H) to name a few.
