About the 0-54204
0-54204 Error Detector Board
The 0-54204 is a board component fabricated by Reliance Electric for use within the company’s drive systems. This board is most usually marked as Reliance component; however, it may in some cases originate from Asea Brown Boveri or from Baldor-Reliance. The part number is static.
The 0-54204 is designed to be used as an Error Detector. It is a five-sided circuit board with a front edge that is significantly shorter than its back edge. The board has an oval cut out of its surface between the front edge and a large black component used as an input device. This component has two disk capacitors mounted into its front surface and also has several screw connections located along its front edge. The left side of the board slopes down to the shorter left board edge (as compared to the right board edge.) The rear edge is populated by another black component that connects to the board using three screw mounts. The board’s surface is printed with a grid pattern.
Other components located on the 0-54204 include a Potter and Brumfield R40-E0166-2 (r40-E3-W2-V800) 24 VDC military relay. The relay diagram is printed on the top surface of this component. There are four integrated circuits, four transformers, nine carbon composite resistors, other resistors, and capacitors made of ceramic and polyester vinyl. The board also has diodes and several instances of surface wiring. More information about this board can be accessed through Reliance publications like user guides and manuals.
