About the 0-54220-1
0-54220-1 AutoMate Autobus Link PC Board
The 0-54220-1 an AutoMate Autobus Link PC card designed by Reliance Electric for use in their drive systems. This board is typically labeled as a Reliance component. However, it may in some cases be marked as originating from either Baldor Reliance or ABB. The part number remains the same. The circuit board is no longer being manufactured.
Unlike most boards in this series, the 0-54220-1 does not have a faceplate and does not use extractor clips. Instead, this board is designed with a short front edge that has an oval cutout that parallels that part of the board. The left edge is shorter than the right, and the fifth edge slopes up from this shorter edge to meet the top edge. This sloped edge is populated by a numbered component (800756-20) that acts as a board input. The component has two LED indicators as part of its front panel. This component can connect to a second component that will extend past the edge of the board.
Other board components include transistors, capacitors made from ceramic and other materials, disk capacitors, metal film resistors, and quick connect pins. The board has twelve integrated circuits including NAND Gates and AND-OR Gates. A larger board component is screw mounted to the rear edge of the board; this is marked 800756-64. The back of the board is marked 801412-88A 477. Reliance Electric provided all technical support for this board series. More information about this board can be accessed through data sheets, manuals, and user guides.
