About the 0-55305
0-55305 Static Trip PC Board
The 0-55305 is a Static Trip board fabricated by Reliance Electric for use within the company’s drives and other systems.
The 0-55305 is a rectangular board without any kind of attached faceplate. The board is drilled along the edges and several times within the board’s body to allow for the addition of mounting hardware. It has two fiber-optic connectors located along one edge. This edge also has two LED indicators, both red, a potentiometer, and five terminal strips located side-by-side. This is the majority of the connectors on the board’s surface, although there are a few terminal pins located within the body of the board, along with jumper wires that connect to them.
Other board components located on the 0-55305 include a second potentiometer, a transformer, a relay, a four-toggle switch component, and several transistors. The board also has a rectifier diode mounted in a heat sink, another wired component mounted on a vertical metal frame, metal film and carbon composite resistors, diodes, integrated circuits, surface wiring, disk capacitors, polyester vinyl capacitors, and high voltage electrolytic capacitors. Some of these are secondarily supported by zip tie connections.
The board is printed with an overall grid pattern. One axis of this grid is marked off by fives and the other axis is lettered from A to double-letters. The board is marked with the Reliance logo.
