About the 0-58706-19
0-58706-19 Gate Driver Board
The 0-58706-19 is a Reliance Electric board component originally fabricated for use within the company’s drive system. While this board usually carries the Reliance Electric logo, it is possible some boards may be marked as manufactured by Baldor-Reliance or by ABB. This is due to changes in the Reliance company structure. Also, it is worth noting it is possible to use the 0-58706-19 board in the 1397 Allen-Bradley DC Drive (Rockwell Automation.)
The 0-58706-19 functions as a Gate Driver board. This is a rectangular board with drill holes in each corner for screw insertion or for the insertion of standoff hardware. There are several drill holes along the long edges of the board for more standoffs. The board’s surface is printed with a grid pattern.
The 0-58706-19 is populated with a single female plug connector, three male plug connectors, and a single male vertical pin cable connector. The board has seven thyristors. These are placed around one of the two large rectangular cut-outs in the board’s surface.
Other components include three metal oxide varistors (MOVs,) six transformers, three small wire wound resistors, six larger wire wound resistors mounted above the board’s surface, stab-on connectors, diodes, and six film capacitors. The film capacitors are of high capacitance.
Reliance publications like user guides and data sheets will provide more detailed information regarding the board operation, along with a step-by-step guide for installation. Reliance was originally responsible for all technical support for the 0-58706-19 and other board within this board series.
