About the 0-60000-2
0-60000-2 Reliance Processor PMI Card
The 0-60000-2 is a Reliance Processor PMI module. This board has been fabricated for use within various Reliance drive systems.
The 0-60000-2 is designed to control the communication within the PMI rack and to execute the control algorithm. The module receives its operating system via the fiber-optic link from the UDC module and then uses this information to regulate current to the field and armature.
The 0-60000-2 is made up of a front faceplate connected via three screws to a printed circuit board component with a rear right-angled connector. This connector functions as a backplane connector. The faceplate has multiple components built into its surface, including two rail ports, two fiber-optic ports, multiple meter ports, and five LED indicators. The LEDs are used to indicate the status of the module. They include a green OK LED, a green COMM OK LED, a red PM FLT LED, a red EXT FLT LED, and a red RAIL FLT LED. The last three LEDs listed indicate fault status.
The 0-60000-2 is built with multiple integrated circuits on its surface. This includes a processor module containing a RISC microprocessor and an on-board watchdog timer. The board also has an on-board monitor circuit that will generate a local power loss signal if the 5V supply line falls below 4.75V. If this happens, the PMI processor will shut down and all other modules within the rack system will enter into a safe power down state.
