About the 0-60000-3
0-60000-3 Processor PMI Card
The 0-60000-3 is a board component from Reliance Electric created to be used within various drives from the company.
The 0-60000-3 functions as a PMI (power module interface) processor module. This includes a front faceplate with mounted components and an attached circuit board. The faceplate includes five LED indicators that are labeled OK, COMM OK, P.M. FLT, EXT FLT, AND RAIL FLT, a terminal strip labeled Meter Ports/P1 with individual screw connections labeled +1/COM, +2/COM, +3/COM, and +4/COM, two fiber optic ports (XMT and RCV,) along with two Rail Ports. The faceplate has two set screws to secure the module in place once it is put into a rack.
The circuit board portion of the 0-60000-3 includes a RISC (reduced instruction set computer) microprocessor running at 16 MHz. This communicates to off-board components through the fiber-optic ports at a rate of 10 Mbps using HDLC protocol. The PMI processor will send a request for its operating systems from the UDC module immediately upon a fiber-optic link being established between the two modules.
The 0-60000-3 is populated by multiple integrated circuits, along with an additional backplane connector, transistors, inductor coils, resistors, capacitors, and diodes. The edges of the board are marked off by numbers and hash marks. Components are located on both sides of the board. The board id and the Reliance logo appear on the front surface, while other codes are imprinted on the rear surface of the board.
