0-60023-1 Power Module Interface Board
The 0-60023-1 is a Reliance Electric module that has been made by the company to be used within various drives. This component is made up of a front faceplate panel and an attached circuit board. While it usually shipped from Reliance, it is possible the equipment you are currently replacing was sold under the manufacturing names of ABB/Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor-Reliance. If you have questions or concerns regarding compatibility, please talk to our staff.
The 0-60023-1 includes two thumb screws located at the top and bottom of the front panel that locks the module safely in place once it has been installed. This faceplate is populated by a female power module interface connector, a terminal strip that is labeled COM IN and COM OUT, and a single green LED indicator. This is labeled “OK.” Components mounted in this faceplate wire into the circuit board.
The circuit board portion of the 0-60023-1 is populated on both its front and back sides. The back surface is taken up primarily by capacitors and resistors. The front includes sixty-one integrated circuits, including a Xilinx microprocessing chip, a right-angled backplane connector, transistors, field effect transistors, diodes and Zener diodes, capacitors, and resistors, including thin-film resistors.
