About the 0-60023-3
0-60023-3 Power Module Interface Board
The 0-60023-3, fabricated by Reliance Electric, is a Power Module Interface that includes a circuit board component connected to a front panel. This module is usually marked as and shipped from Reliance, but due to changes in that company’s structure, it is possible your original equipment shipped from either Baldor-Reliance or from ABB/Asea Brown Boveri. If there are any concerns about compatibility, please reach out to our team.
The front faceplate of the 0-60023-3 has a set screw located at the top and the bottom. These screws are designed to lock the module securely in place once it is put in position within a rack. The faceplate includes a green LED “OK” indicator, a small terminal strip that is labeled COM In and COM Out, and a Power Module Interface connector (female.) Three screws are used to attach the circuit board and the faceplate together.
The board portion of the 0-60023-3 has components on both surfaces. Resistors and capacitors are the primary components on the rear surface. The front surface includes a right-angled backplane connector, a Xilinx microprocessor chip, and sixty more integrated circuits. It has transistors, diodes, Zener diodes, thin film resistors, oscillating chips, capacitors, and field effect transistors. The board’s surface is printed with an X and a Y-axis. It is marked on two edges with hash marks that are marked off by fives.
