About the 0-60028-2
0-60028-2 Gate Driver Interface Module for Automax
The 0-60028-2 is a Reliance Electric module created for use within the company’s various drives, most often the Automax SA 3000.
The 0-60028-2 functions as a Gate Driver Interface Module. It is no longer manufactured. The component is made up of a rectangular circuit board with an attached front faceplate. The faceplate is designed with set screws top and bottom that lock the module in place once it is installed in a rack system. It also has a single green LED indicator that is labeled “OK,” as well as a local power (female) interface connector. Below these components, the board has six sets of fiber-optic links (hp 9717 R-2521) lined up one after the other. These are all labeled as XMT or RCV, with each set also labeled (top to bottom) as U(+), U(-), V(+), V(-), W(+), and W(-). The faceplate is marked with the board use and with the board id number.
The board component attached to the 0-60028-2 module is populated with a right-angled interface connector, located on its rear edge. It has transistors, resistors, capacitors, diodes, jumper switches, and over forty integrated circuits. Both the front and rear surfaces of the board are used for components. The rear board surface is populated primarily with capacitors and resistors.
