About the 0-60031-2
0-60031-2 Resolver and Drive I/O Card
The 0-60031-2 from Reliance is a board component made for use within the company’s drive systems. It has been discontinued by Reliance and is no longer in production. While the 0-60031-2 is typically considered a Reliance board component, changes in company structure over the years means the board currently in your possession may have originally shipped from Asea Brown Boveri or from Baldor-Reliance.
The 0-60031-2 functions as a Resolver and Drive I/O board. It is composed of a circuit board and a connected faceplate. The faceplate on this module includes two set screws that lock the component in place within a rack system after installation. It also has two female plug components; these are labeled ‘feedback’ and ‘I/O.’ The top of the faceplate is populated by nine LED indicators mounted in a pattern of two green, one amber, five green, and one amber. These LEDs are labeled as FDBK OK/RPI/MCR/AUX IN 1/AUX IN 2/AUX IN 3/ AUX IN 4/ AUX IN 5/AUX OUT.
The board portion of the 0-60031-2 has an interface connector located on its rear edge. This is a multi-pin cable connector. The board has disk capacitors, high-voltage electrolytic capacitors and other types of capacitors. It has four relay components, two inductor coils, diodes, transistors, a transformer, an operational amplifier mounted in a heat sink, and over thirty-five other integrated circuits including FPGAs. The board uses surface wiring at least one location. Please consult Reliance publications (manuals or user guides) for more detailed information on board operation.
