The 107075-28S is a factory component from Reliance Electric designed to be a replacement component for the company’s various drive control systems. In many cases the components this replacement is fitting into may have been shipped under a different name due to company restructuring. If your equipment is branded Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor Reliance but has this part number it is likely compatible. Please check your original paperwork to determine compatibility.
The 107075-28S has a wide front faceplate attached to the circuit board component. The faceplate is silver and is marked with the board ID and with the Reliance logo. It also has a set screw located at the top and the bottom to ensure the unit is locked in place after it has been installed. These typically are thumb-tightened and do not require tools.
The faceplate includes several rotary dials that each connect to a potentiometer on the board’s front edge. The dials are marked from zero to ten with the capability for finer tuning due to hash marks between numbers. Some openings in the faceplate may be covered with a cover rather than have a dial inserted. This is to allow for different versions of this board.
