About the 402410-221AW
The 402410-221AW is an Output Transistor for a 460 VAC 60 Hz input 50-150 HP 3-phase AC VS FlexPak drive. This part can also be identified as European Part number 136.08.00 In most cases, Reliance recommended companies keep three spare output transistors in their replacement part inventory at all times.
The 402410-221AW will be part of the output terminal block. This will be part of the Flexpak’s power unit checks, which include disconnecting the motor from the controller, setting a volt-ohmmeter on the X1 scale to measure from the terminals +/- to ensure there is high resistance. When any of the transistors read low resistance, they need to be replaced due to a defect. The base driver board should also be replaced at this time. It is important to also check the D-C bus fuse to ensure it is still good, as this may also require replacement.
The Reliance Flexpak drive offers wiring and panel flexibility and typically can be used as an open chassis, NEMA 4X or NEMA 12 enclosure. The unit can operate from local or remote controls.
