About the 613613-30S

The 613613-30S fiber-optic cable is a replacement part/optional part for Reliance Electric systems.  Cables like the 613613-30S are typically used to transmit data from a power module interface to a Reliance universal drive controller and vice versa.   These cables have a transmission rate of 10 MB per second.   The original cable that you are replacing may have shipped from Reliance.  It is also possible it may have shipped from Baldor-Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri; typically these company name changes do not affect compatibility.  If you have any concerns or questions, please refer to the documentation for this part or reach out to our team. 

The 613613-30S has ST-compatible multi-mode connectors at either end of the cabling.  Between these connectors, the cabling is wrapped in polyvinyl chloride or PVC outer sleeve that covers the Kevlar underlayment protecting the dual fibers underneath.  This cable is immune to EMI interference. 

The 613613-30S is typically used in installations where abrasion or vibration will not affect the cabling.  Locations near foot traffic or moving parts should be avoided unless wiring trays, raceways, or conduits are utilized.   The cable has a minimum bend radius of 60 mm, which should be taken into consideration when planning its installation.
