The 707973-12S is a Reliance Electric created Field Current Regulator Cable Assembly. This assembly may have also been sold by ASEA BROWN BOVERI, Allen Bradley, and Baldor Reliance depending on what year it was produced.
The 707973-12S was created as a replacement part on a Reliance Electric FlexPak 3000 DC Drive system. This assembly is used for 3-60HP @ 460VAC drives. It goes on a Field Regulator Board. This assembly has 12-pin PCB connector (REG P25), 10-pin PCB connectors (FLD P6), and a 4-pin square connector (FLD P3). The assembly is also made up of spiraled green and brown wires and straight brown wiring. The wiring is secured by zip ties to prevent any type of tangling.
