This model of servo board is a part of the the BSA series of high performance square wave current, brushless servo drives, designed as modular packages, suited to both single and multiple axis applications.
Using conventional analog velocity control, encoder based analog tachometer, potentiometer adjustments, and non-isolated 120 volt/Alternating Current input, the BSA series is a power saving, cost efficient brushless servo drive. The BSA series powers the standard Electro-Craft S-Series, F-Series, and LD-Series of permanent magnet synchronous motors.
The BSA series of motors and drives are designed with a large range of industrial servo applications, including robotic applications, along with position, torque, and velocity type servo systems. Each drive is a self-contained unit, built for easy installation and electrical interconnections to the alternating current power transformer, motor-tachometer, and controller.
The command signal to the power drive can be monitored at the ICMD output. The BSA series is a pulse-width modulation (PWM), switching type drive that reduces system power losses. Motor speed is precisely controlled down to a maximum torque, low velocity condition.
