About the 9101-1302

The 9101-1302 is a Brushless 20AMP single-phase BRU-200 Servo Drive Module. It was initially made by Reliance Electric to go with the Electro-Craft series of motors. It is a part of their legacy series and might be a little hard to find. Consult AX Control for information about the availability of this controller. This module may also be listed under the model number which is DM-20. 

The 9101-1302’s main function is to be able to provide the power and control needed for an S-Series and F-Series Electro-Craft motors. The suggested motors that can be purchased separately and paired with this drive are F-4030, S-3016, S-4030. It is 120/240 VAC with a peak amps of 20A. It has a continuous amperage of 10A. It has a DC bus of 141-340 VDC with the possibility of 325 VDC when using 230 VAC input. This drive can maintain a command signal range of +/-10 VDCs with a 13.3k ohms impedance. It has a 100 watt + dissipative shunt maximum power loss. Typical power losses are normally around ½ that of the maximum. There are a 50-watt continuous shunt and a 4.5-kilowatt peak power shunt. This drive weighs around 15 lbs. 

The 9101-1302 has four LED indicators on its faceplate that are labeled numerically 1-4. There is a single green LED in this sequence and three red LEDs. There is a terminal board on the bottom left side of the faceplate that has a small green LED labeled Ready. There are six other connectors on the bottom right-hand side of the faceplate. The chassis on this model is vented and has four factory-drilled holes on its backplate so that the drive can be mounted to a flat surface.
