About the BRU-200-DM-75
Reliance Electric originally created the BRU-200-DM-75 as a 75-ampere brushless servo drive. It may have also been sold under the ABB or Baldor Reliance manufacturing names depending on when it was in production. This module is a legacy series drive that may be a little hard to locate. Please contact AX Control for the availability of this part.
The BRU-200-DM-75 has the ability to be paired with a few Electro-Craft motors. The drive has the ability to exert control over the motor and provide regulation to its power and frequency. It maintains a standard input voltage that is 120/240 VAC and 50/60Hz. It similarly has an output voltage of 0-400Hz and 120/240 VAC. It has a peak of 75 amps and a continuous 35 amps.
The faceplate on the BRU-200-DM-75 contains connections and LEDs. The top left corner has a terminal strip that is labeled TB2 and is a connection port for the external shunt. The bottom left corner has another terminal strip labeled TB1. The wire that connects directly to the motor can be wired into this terminal strip. There is a green LED indicator that is directly above this terminal stip. It glows when it registers connections to the terminal strip. There are also 4 LEDs in the top right corner that are labeled 1-4. They glow when the drive is working right and when there is a fault detected. On the bottom right corner, there are six connections that are labeled P1-P6 and with what type of connection can be made using each port. On the bottom of the chassis are double fans that have the ability to regulate airflow to the internal components of the drive.
