The DM-30 is a model of BRU-200 series of 30-amp servo drives from Reliance Electric. It may have been also sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance depending on its manufacturing dates.
The DM-30 has an input voltage of 120/240 VAC and 50/60 Hz. It has a continuous amperage of 15A and a peak amperes of 30A. This drive is single-phase. It has a peak shunt of 4.5 kW and a continuous shunt of 50 W. it weighs 6.8 kg. It should be used with an S-4050, S-4075, F-4050, and an F-4075 Electro-Craft motor.
The DM-30 has an open chassis next to its faceplate. It has a set of 4 LEDs that are numerically labeled 1-4. It has a terminal strip on its left side. It is labeled L1 aux, L2 aux, R, S, T, GND, L1, L2, and GND. There is a small green LED under it. There are six more connections on the right side of the faceplate. It is labeled P1 communication, P2 I/O, P3 encoder out, P4 encoder in, P5 monitor, and P6 serial. There is a cooling air circulation fan on the bottom of the chassis that helps airflow to all of the internal circuitry.
The DM-30 can be mounted to a flat panel using the two brackets on its backplane. This drive should be mounted vertically and should not be directly on top or below anything else. There are two factory-drilled holes on the top bracket on the backplane. Use two bolts and washers to make a secure mount to the panel.
