About the DM-75
The DM-75 is a 75-amp model of the BRU-200 single-phase brushless servo drives. It was initially designed by Reliance Electric but could have also been sold by Baldor Reliance or ABB based on when it was in production. It is now part of the legacy series of drives and may be hard to find. Please consult AX Control for its availability.
The DM-75 was created to be paired with Electro-Craft series motors. It provides them with the control and power needed to function efficiently. It has an input voltage of 120/240 VAC and 50/60Hz. It has an output voltage of 120/240 VAC 0-400 Hz. It has a peak amperage of 75 amps and a continuous amperage of 35 amps.
The DM-75 has two terminal connection strips. The one in the top left corner on the faceplate is for the external shunt. It is labeled TB2 and numerically labeled 1-3. The one at the bottom left corner has a DC Bus LED indicator above it and it is labeled TB1. The primary motor cable is wired into this terminal strip. The LED indicator will glow if there are wires attached to the terminal strip. In the top right corner, there are 4 LED indicators. The green one will glow if the drive is running properly while the other three will glow when the drive is turned on and then stop glowing if the drive is functioning correctly. If there is a system error the red indicators will turn back on or will stay lit. There are six other connectors on the bottom corner and two external fans on the bottom of the drive.
