About the PRO-450
PRO-450
This unit is the PRO-450, a high performance servo board that is a part of the BRU-200 subcategory of devices from the BSA series of products. These were developed in part as Baldor/Reliance products.
These servo boards were designed as devices to drive permanent magnet, brushtype, direct current servo motors. These boards are intended for use with a wide range of industrial servo functions, which include a machine tool and robotic applications, along with torque, velocity, and position type servo systems.
This drive interfaces with a velocity system controller which provides an analog voltage signal proportional to the desired motor velocity. The PRO-450 drives can also operate in current or torque mode, so that a controller provides an analog voltage signal proportional to the operator-desired motor torque.
This unit’s circuitry is designed for both protection of both motor and drive from any possible effects of overload and short circuit conditions. The command signal to the power drive can be monitored at the ICMD output. The MAX-400 series is a pulse-width modulation (PWM), switching type drive that reduces system power losses. Motor speed is precisely controlled down to a maximum torque, low velocity condition.
The PRO-450 module servo board, as well as the rest of the Baldor/Reliance products that AX Control has to offer, are used pieces of industrial equipment, but have been refurbished and optimized to operate at peak performance levels by our technicians.
AX Control is able to offer a protective, fully comprehensive warranty deal ranging between one and three years, depending on the type of product it is.
