Product Description

The 9101-0313 is a 150 amp DM-150 BRU-500 Servo Drive. This model is brushless and is classified as a high-performance sinusoidal industrial drive. It is intended to be used with Electro-Craft motors in the S-Series. The recommended motors for this drive are the S-6300 and the S-8500. This drive was initially made by Reliance Electric and possibly sold under the ABB or Baldor Reliance product lines.

The 9101-0313 uses a 16-bit microprocessor with its control circuitry to facilitate a serial interface from a PC or programming terminal to the drive itself. When a personality module (PM) is plugged into the drive, the PM has the capacity to set-up and tune the motor.  

 The 9101-0313 has a continuous amperage rating of 65 amps with a maximum peak amperage of 150 amps. It has a frequency of 50/60 Hz with a maximum short circuit system rating of 5 kiloamps.  It has an input voltage of 170-340 VDC and an output voltage of 120-240 VAC with a 0-400 Hz frequency rating.

The 9101-0313 has LED indicators labeled 1-4. They are red or green and alert the user to errors in the drive. There are six connections labeled P6 Serial, P5 Monitor, P4 Encoder In, P3 Encoder Out, P2 I/O, and P1 Controller. There is a large warning label on the bottom of the faceplate. On the bottom side of the drive are two air control fans that help to keep the internal components from overheating. This drive is only meant for indoor locations and should be vertically mounted to a totally flat surface.
