Reliance Electric designed the 9101-0379 BRU-500 DM-150 Servo Drive. ABB and/or Baldor Reliance might have also had this drive under their production lines depending entirely on when this drive was actually being manufactured. As a legacy series, this drive no longer receives any sort of support from the initial manufacturing companies and, as a result, it could be a bit difficult to locate. AX Control makes every attempt to keep the 9101-0379 stocked.

The 9101-0379 is a 150-amp 3-Phase 50/60 Hz 230VAC/325VDC brushless servo drive module. This drive has a maximum short circuit rating amperage of 5 kiloamps. It is 11.0 kilograms.

The 9101-0379 has two RS-232 connection ports that are labeled P5 Resolver Feedback and P6 Drive I/O. There are two labeled P4 and P3 rail ports. There are two P1 XMT and P2 RCV labeled comm link ports. The drive has a re-boot switch and just above it, 15 LED red, green, and yellow indicator lights. The LEDs are labeled PWR OK, OK, Comm OK, P.M. FLT, EXT FLT, Rail FLT, FDBK OK, RPJ, MCR, aux in1, aux in2, aux in3, aux in4, aux in5, and aux out.  It also maintains two fans on the base of its enclosure. These keep the interior components within the drive from overheating.

Using the two installation brackets on the 9101-0379, the user has the ability to vertically mount the drive to either a panel or another flat surface. Bolts and washers should be used to guarantee that the drive has an extremely flat and secure mounting to the surface.
