About the 9101-3001
The 9101-3001 is a PSM-125 Power Supply Module that is meant to be paired with a BRU-500 Servo Drive. It was originally created by Reliance Electric but may have later been sold by ABB and Baldor Reliance.
The 9101-3001 is a replacement part for a BRU-500 series motor and drive assembly. It has the ability to supply DC power to a maximum of 6 different servo or spindle drives. The 9101-3001 has an input voltage of 120/240 VAC and a 50/60 Hz input frequency. It has an output voltage of 170/340 VAC and a 0-400 Hz output frequency range. It maintains a 100-amp bus. It is a part of the AutoMax SA-500 series and is 3-Phase.
There aren’t a lot of external components on the 9101-3001. It has four LED indicators that are labeled phase loss, overtemp, disabled, and PSM ready. These LEDs are all red except for the PSM ready LED indicator. There is a small terminal strip located below the LEDs that is labeled TB1. There are two fan assemblies that are located on the base of the module. Under the protective enclosure cover, just above the circulation fans, are the wire terminals for the positive, negative, and ground wires. There are ports that are labeled L1, L2, and L3 that lead to the AC Line Filter. On the back of the power supply is a flat panel that has a top and bottom set of factory-drilled holes. These holes are used in combination with bolts and washers to mount the power supply to a vertical flat surface.
