About the BRU-500-DM-150
The BRU-500-DM-150 is a 150-amp Brushless Servo Drive Module created by Reliance Electric. It may have also been mass-produced by ABB or Baldor Reliance depending on when its production years were.
The BRU-500-DM-150 is rated 230 VAC, 325 VDC, and 50/60Hz. It has a 5 kA short circuit system rating. It has a continuous amperage of 65A and a peak amperage of 150A. It has a bus voltage of 125-375 VDC or 325 VDCs with a 230 VAC input. It has a command signal input range of +/-10 VDC with 13.3k ohms impedance. It has a maximum wattage loss of 300 watts although the typical power loss is only about half that amount. This drive weighs 24.2 lbs.
The BRU-500-DM-150 has the ability to provide a motor with its needed control and power. This drive was created to be used with Electro-Craft motors. It can use the S-Series S-6300 or S-8500 permanent magnet synchronous motors.
The BRU-500-DM-150 can be mounted to a flat surface using the two installation brackets on the back of the chassis. It is advisable to use a series of bolts and washers to help ensure the drive has a stable and tight mounting to the flat surface. This drive should be mounted vertically in an inside environment. It should be kept away from corrosive or combustible materials and be stored in a clean, dry environment.
This drive has a faceplate with only a few external components. It has 4 LED indicator lights labeled 1-4 and 6 ports are labeled P1 through P6.
