About the 9106-0001
The 9106-0001 is an Electro-Craft Brushless Servo Amplifier that is a part of the Reliance Electric BSA Series. This amplifier may have also been produced by Baldor Reliance and ABB at one point. This model may also be found under the alternate part number BSA-15.
The 9106-0001 has a 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, and single-phase input rating. It also has a 0-400 Hz and 120 VAC output rating.
The 9106-0001 has many intricate features on its faceplate. It has three P1 through P3 connections that are all RS-232. The first is a 9-pin male connection that is the P2 encoder out connection. The second is a P3 26-pin male encoder in connection. The third is a 28-pin P1 female controller connection. Just above that are two additional sets of wire connections. The first set is labeled COM, MVO, and MCO. The second group is labeled l Limit, l RMS, Compensations, TACH, VCS, and Offset. Just above that are a set of LEDs that are red and green. These are labeled LED 3, LED 2, LED 1, and Logic P/S. Just above that is a label that reads Vertical. Above that is a small terminal strip that holds six connections. These connections have been separated into two groups. The first group is labeled Motor and the second is Power. The different terminals in the Motor group have been labeled T, S, and R. The terminals in the Power section have been labeled Ground, L2, and L1. On the bottom and top sides of this amplifier, there are air vents that help to make sure air circulation is reaching the internal components of the 9106-0001.
