About the 125FN2031
125FN2031 is a DC controller from the FlexPak 3000 series which is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The controller is a full-wave power converter without a back rectifier. The system includes a digital current major and minor loop for speed control and voltage via tachometer feedback. This controller is non-regenerative. The controller is compatible with the FlexPak 3000 Regulator Software version 3. This model of controller is designed to operate at a nominal voltage input of 230 VAC with a maximum output of 125 hp. The controller is designed to be chassis mounted at a service condition of 55°C at approximately 3300 feet above sea level. The logic inputs can be powered both internally and externally by a 24-volt power supply. The controller also has logic outputs for running, alarm, and no fault, which operate at 250 VAC/30 VDC. Analog inputs include a Manual Mode Reference, Automatic Mode Reference, and D-C Tachometer feedback. Analog outputs include the two metering analog outputs at the Control Terminal Block(CTB). The drive efficiency is estimated at 98.6 percent for the controller alone.
The controller implements an Operator Interface Module (OIM) to adjust necessary parameters. The controller can be controlled using the OIM or by the terminals in the CTB which is available English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and ‘Code’. Reference feedback and metering signals can be interfaced to the controller. This controller should be stored in its original packaging until use. It should be kept in a clean and dry environment away from corrosive or otherwise hazardous environments. When in storage, this drive should be kept at a temperature between 65°C and -30°C with limited humidity to prevent condensation.
