125FN4042 is a D-C motor drive that is part of the FlexPak 3000 series by Reliance Electric. This driver is designed to accept an A-C voltage input and output D-C voltage at the top of the device. It provides a variety of features to evaluate, test, and control a variety of DC motors and actuators. It is designed to operate at an A-C Voltage of 460 V with a maximum power of 125 hp. This drive requires FlexPak 3000’s Regulator software V4. This drive is certified to the standards of U/L, C-U/L, and CE. The kit has overall dimensions of 26.68” (67.77 cm) X 18.82” (47.81 cm) X 45.25” (11.492 cm).
Attention should be given to making sure that this specific drive is compatible with the intended D-C motor. The user is responsible for taking the necessary safety precautions in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC/CEC). In case of emergency, the drives in the FlexPak 3000 series can be stopped by a a configurable stop input on the drive. This stop input can be configured to operate as a ramp stop, current limit stop, or a coast/DB stop. Only software versions that are 4.0 or later can utilize a ramp or current limit stop command. There are two internal stopping sequences that will deactivate the motor armature in the event of a stop command. It is still recommended that the user provide an external stop for emergencies. This emergency stop should be separate from all drive-based internal logic.
