The front of the 15FR4042 DC drive is a large device that has a faceplate with a large keypad and a small display. The display can show the following information, as indicated on the right side of the display: fault, alarm, interlock OK, drive ready, running, current limit, and torque limit. There are a total of eight white buttons, not including the four arrow buttons, on the keypad. These buttons are labeled from left to right as follows: “PROGRAM/MONITOR,” “FAULT,” “CONTROL SOURCE SELECT,” “AUTO/MANUAL,” “FORWARD/REVERSE,” “RUN,” “JOG,” and “STOP/RESET.” On the bottom left part of the keypad, there are three more buttons that are black in color, which are labeled as follows: “HELP,” “CANCEL,” and “ENTER.” The very bottom of the 15FR4042 DC drive has its own small fan unit for cooling purposes.
