About the 200FR4042
200FR4042 is a DC motor drive from the FlexPak 3000 series, developed by Reliance Electric. It is a drive that is intended to be used with the FlexPak 3000 series Regulator software version 4. The drive accepts 460 VAC as its primary input. The frequency of the power source must be either 50 or 60 Hz. If it is not possible to achieve these input parameters, a power transformer may be required. The maximum output that this drive can safely achieve is 200 HP. It is up to the user to ensure safe operation of this drive. When setting up the drive, it is important to ensure that the AC power is disconnected and that all incoming power is locked out. A voltmeter should be used to verify that the drive is not active before setup.
Before powering up the drive, it is important to complete the power off inspection and verify the motor grounding. Once the three-phase AC power supply to the drive is activated, three screens will be displayed in sequence. The first is a welcome screen that provides critical information for the user on the type of drive. The second screen is a buffering display which occurs while links and regulator data are being established. Finally, the home screen of the drive will be displayed. This display will list quick start, drive reference, speed/voltage loop (SPD), and current minor loop (CML). The menus can be navigated using the keys on the Operator Interface Module (OIM). Location in the menu is displayed by a black arrow pointing right. If more menu items are available than currently displayed, they will be demonstrated using a black downward arrow.
