Included on the drive system is the Operator Interfacing Module (OIM), which allows for configuring and manual operating of the associated motor. These functionalities are controlled using the OIM Programming keys and Drive Control Keys. The OIM Programming keys allow for configuration of internal drive parameters, while the drive control keys allow performing certain tasks with the motor (such as jogging, running programs, stopping operations, and resetting). The OIM provides various indicators which provide real time state monitoring of the drive system including the following conditions: Alarm, Fault, Interlock OK, Drive ready, Running, and Current or Torque limit reached. These are all displayed in the OIM LCD screen and are indicated by a black bar in certain locations. The DC drive Operator Interfacing Module also includes LEDs that are used for status and service purposes.
