About the 20FR2042

20FR2042 is a 20 HP drive controller that is made by Reliance Electric for the FlexPak 3000 series. The drive modification kits include the inverting fault circuit breaker kit, the pulse tachometer feedback kit, the blower motor starter kit, the OIM remote mounting kit, the high voltage tachometer follower kit, the AC line disconnect kit, the NEMA 1 conversion kit, the enhanced field supply kit, etc. The inverting fault circuit breaker kit must be mounted separately on the panel and is used for applications such as un-winders and pay-offs. The pulse tachometer feedback kit creates an analog A-C interface between the regulator and the tachometer generator.

The blower motor starter kit provides a fused A-C starter for control of the three-phase blower motor used to cool the D-C motor. The OIM remote mounting kit allows the user to mount the OIM a distance away from the drive that is less than or equal to 5 meters. The high voltage tachometer follower kit allows the drive to follow an analog tachometer signal upstream from 10 to 250 VDC input. The AC line disconnect kit allows the user to conveniently disconnect the AC line from the controller. The NEMA 1 conversion kit allows the user to convert the drive enclosure into a NEMA 1 enclosure. The enhanced field supply kit provides the ability for 230 VAC input controllers to have a 240 VDC field supply instead of a 150 VDC field supply. Not all of these kits are available for all controllers, as some controllers are regenerative, and some are non-regenerative. The AC tachometer feedback kit is not for regenerative drives.
