250FB4042 is a 460 VAC regenerative FlexPak 3000 drive controller that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. This drive has a rated horsepower of 250 HP, unless a conversion kit is applied, in which case the rated horsepower is cut in half. The rated field current is 15, the full load RMS AC line current is 351, and the full load rated DC armature current is 412. The user must store the drive controller indoors, in its original shipping container, and away from highly corrosive atmospheres and construction areas. Contact AX Control for long-term storage instructions if you intend to store this drive for longer than 5 months. The ambient temperature range for storing the controller has to be -40° to 65° Celsius. All of these guidelines help ensure satisfactory operation and startup of the drive, as well as to maintain warranty coverage.
Hardware requirements for the CS3000 drive software include IBM 286/386/486/Pentium or IBM-compatible PC, Windows 3.1 or higher, a hard drive with at least 8 mbytes of available free space, 640 kbytes of conventional RAM plus 256 kbytes of extended RAM (minimum), a floppy disk drive, a monochrome or color monitor (EGA, CGA, or VGA), and an RS-232 serial COM port. Three cables are recommended for use with this software: the 2CA3000 interface cable (9-pin to 9-pin), the 2CA3001 interface cable (25-pin to 9-pin), and the 61C127 interface cable (25-pin to 9-pin).
