About the 2FN2032
2FN2032 is a 230 VAC Reliance Electric Flex 3000 drive. This drive is converted from a 5FN40xx drive via the 916FK0100 conversion. The purpose of the conversion kit is to lower the required input power for the Flex 3000 drives from 460 VAC to 230 VAC. Do not use the conversion kit with power applied to the drive. For NEMA 1 drives, remove the cover by loosening the four retaining screws. Next, remove fuses 4FU and 5FU from the fuse block. The fuse block is mounted at the top left of the drive for 3-60 HP drives. The fuse block is mounted at the top right of the drive for 75-150 HP drives. The conversion kit supplies 2 fuses. Install these two fuses into locations 4FU and 5FU.
Disconnect the jumpers on the control transformer (CCT) primary terminal connections, H2 and H3. Use these jumpers to connect terminal H1 to terminal H3 and terminal H2 to terminal H4. Then label the drive with the provided 230 VAC label to the left of the drive nameplate. For NEMA 1 drives, replace the cover and tighten the screws. Turn on the drive’s power and use the drive keypad/display to set the Nominal AC line volts parameter to 230. Perform the Quickstart/Self-Tuning procedures. If the user is converting a drive that has never been configured or one that has been operated at 460 volts, other parameters must also be configured. Observe all precautions listed in the user manual. The user is responsible for conforming with all applicable local, national, and international codes.
