About the 2FR2032

2FR2032 is a Reliance Electric FlexPak 3000 drive. This drive is a conversion from drive 5FR40xx via the 916FK0100 conversion kit. This regenerative drive has a horsepower rating of 2 HP. 10 is the rated field current, 9 is the full load rated DC armature current, and 11 is the full load RMS AC line current. The weight of this drive is 58 lbs (26.4 kg).

Standard features of this drive’s AC supply include a 50/60 Hz AC line frequency input, a phase-insensitive AC line input, semi conductor fuse protection, an AC “N” contactor “3-300 HP) and a DC “M” contactor (400-600 HP). Standard features of this drive’s power section include a full-wave, full-control 6-SCR power conversion, burst firing of SCRs, and the capability to hold a 150% full-load current for 1-minute and 200% for 5 seconds. User adjustments in the drive’s Quick-Start menu include maximum speed, minimum speed, linear acceleration, linear deceleration, current limit (positive and negative on regenerative modules such as 2FR2032), I/R compensation, jog speed, jog acceleration and deceleration rate, and reverse disable on regenerative drives.

Other significant standard features include the capability for self-tuning of speed and current loops without disconnecting the fields, field (current) loss protection, user-selectable stop modes (coast, current limit, and ramp), and local controls with an interactive keypad and display for drive set up, drive operation, metering and diagnostics (including fault and alarm logs).
