About the 30FN2032

30FN2032 is a 30 horsepower non-regenerative drive manufactured by Reliance Electric as a part of their FlexPak 3000 series. This drive has a 230 VAC and can be converted into a 460 VAC with the 916FK0100 conversion kit. After conversion, the horsepower will double to 60 HP. The software version number is 3 and the drive is UL listed.

Drive control keys provide the ability to start and stop the drive, select the direction of rotation, select the reference, and control the source. Use these keys exclusively to control the drive. Use the KEYPAD control to access the OIM buttons that allow the user to control drive operations. Displayed in Monitor mode, the KEYPAD REF value is used as the drive reference. TERMBLK uses the reference at the CTB terminals for the setpoint. It also uses the controls connected to the CTB for control of drive operations. With the proper option installed and when the control signals and reference originate from the network option board, only network control can be selected. When J15 is set to CURRENT, the drive is configured as a current regulator and the control source can only be set to TERMBLK.

In order to install the drive, the user must develop the panel layout to the specifications described in the user manual. At the top and bottom of the drives, the user must leave at least 12 inches of space, regardless of whether the top and/or bottom of the drive is adjacent to another drive or to non-heat producing equipment such as the cabinet wall. On the sides of the drive, the user must leave at least 4 inches of space, regardless of whether the sides of the drive are adjacent to another drive or to non-heat producing equipment such as the cabinet wall. These specifications allow for adequate ventilation of the drive.
