About the 30FN2042
30FN2042 is a 30 horsepower non-regenerative drive manufactured by Reliance Electric as a part of their FlexPak 3000 series. This drive has a 230 VAC and can be converted into a 460 VAC with the 916FK0100 conversion kit. After conversion, the horsepower will double to 60 HP. The software version number is 4 and the drive is UL listed.
The AUTO/MANUAL key determines which drive reference source will be used when the CONTROL SOURCE SELECT (CSS) is set to KEYPAD. Whether this key is in AUTO or MANUAL is shown on the LCD directly above the key. AUTO will use the signal at CTB terminals 19-20. The position of hardware jumpers J10 and J12 determines the type of signal accepted at terminals 19-20. MANUAL will use the keypad REF from the OIM as the drive reference. When CSS is not KEYPAD REF, the preset state of the reference mode is shown above the key (determined from the selected control source). When the drive is configured as a current regulator (J15=current), AUTO/MANUAL is fixed in AUTO mode. The FORWARD/REVERSE key selects the direction of rotation when the drive is at rest. For regenerative drives, this key dynamically changes the direction of rotation when the drive is in operation. This key is active only when in KEYPAD control and also affects the direction of rotation for JOG. This key is fixed in the FORWARD position for non-regenerative drives, as well as when a pulse tach with quadrature disabled is being used, when the REVERSE DISABLE is set to ON in regenerative drives, and when the A-C tach is being used.
