About the 30FR2032
30FR2032 is a 30 horsepower regenerative drive manufactured by Reliance Electric as a part of their FlexPak 3000 series. This drive has a 230 VAC and can be converted into a 460 VAC with the 916FK0100 conversion kit. After conversion, the horsepower will double to 60 HP. The software version number is 3 and the drive is UL listed. The drive cannot be serviced or operated by anyone who does not have professional electrical knowledge. Electrical damage or personal injury may occur if this requirement is not adhered to by operators.
Wiring the drive involves first grounding the drive, the enclosure, the motor, and the operator’s control station. To do this, first locate 2 drive ground points and use the recommended ring lugs. Run a suitable equipment grounding conductor unbroken from either drive ground point to the plant ground (grounding electrode). Connect a suitable grounding conductor from each conduit to this drive ground point. Connect a suitable equipment grounding conductor to the motor frame, the transformer enclosure if used, and the drive enclosure. Run this conductor unbroken to the grounding electrode and connect the GND (green/ground) wire brought in with the incoming A-C power line to the power ground point. 230 VAC drives require 100 lb-in power ground studs and a 25 lb-in control ground stud. 460 VAC drives require 100 lb-in power ground studs and a 45 lb-in control ground stud. When an input or an output device is added, refer to the kit instructions for tightening torque specifications.
