About the 30FR2042
30FR2042 is a 30 horsepower regenerative drive manufactured by Reliance Electric as a part of their FlexPak 3000 series. This drive has a 230 VAC and can be converted into a 460 VAC with the 916FK0100 conversion kit. After conversion, the horsepower will double to 60 HP. The software version number is 4 and the drive is UL listed.
The drive requires a 3-phase power source of either 230 VAC or 460 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. A transformer must be installed between the power source and the drive if the correct voltage is not available. Table 2-2 lists the symmetrical current that the available short circuit capacity may not exceed. Failure to observe these precautions may result in bodily injury. In order to wire A-C power to the drive, size the A-C line supply conductors for the specific drive rating and according to all applicable codes, connect the A-C line supply to the drive or to the disconnect if used, and tighten incoming A-C line connections. For drives with a horsepower of 40, 50, or 60 and a 230 VAC, the A-C line torque must be 275 lb-in. For drives with a horsepower of 75 and a 230 VAC, the A-C line torque must be 375 lb-in. For drives with a horsepower of 75, 100, or 125 and a 460 VAC, the A-C line torque must be 275 lb-in. For drives with a horsepower of 150 and 460 VAC, the A-C line torque must be 375 lb-in. The tightening torque applies to the wiring device (stud or terminal board) provide.
