About the 30FR4042
30FR4042 is a 30 horsepower regenerative drive manufactured by Reliance Electric as a part of their FlexPak 3000 series. This drive has a 460 VAC and can be converted into a 230 VAC with the 916FK0100 conversion kit. After conversion, the horsepower will be cut in half to 15 HP. The software version number is 4 and the drive is UL listed.
The drive has many jumpers. J15 is the regulator type. J16 is the OIM program. J20 is the field loss detect. J21 is the field supply jumper. J19 is the manual reference. J14 is the tach V range. J11 is the tach V scale. J10 and J12 are auto references. J18 is the armature I FB RB. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, power must be removed before changing any jumper connection. Only change the jumper setting after power is removed. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to, or destruction of, the equipment. The correct positions of these jumpers can be displayed by selecting “Correct Scaling Jumpers” from the Drive Information Menu.
When powering up the drive, the user must complete the OIM screen contrast adjustment. This function can be enabled at any program menu level but not from the parameter value entry screens. To enable the contrast adjustment function, press the right arrow key. The main menu (which can be accessed by by pressing the PROGRAM/MONITOR key until "PROGRAM" appears above the key) includes Quick Start, Drive Reference, SpeedNoltage Loop (SPD), Current Minor Loop (CML), Input/Output, Network Communications, Field, Diagnostics Configure, Drive Information, and Operator Interface.
