The 3FR2042 is 50/60 Hz, 230 VAC, with a full load RMS AC line current of 13 amps. It has the ability to have a 1 minute maximum load at 150% or a 5 second maximum load of 200%. It has a 48/62 Hz AC line frequency. When used with a motor, this drive has an efficiency rating of 87%. A standard transformer can handle as many as three of these drives at one time. The 3FR2042 is 10.65” wide, 12.23” thick, and 18.79” tall. It weighs right around 58lbs. This drive is protected by a chassis-type enclosure that should only be installed in an environment with temperatures between +32 to +104 degrees Fahrenheit. It should also be located in an environment with a 5-95% non-condensing humidity.

The user interface on the 3FR2042 comes with an LCD display monitor and a 15-key keypad. This monitor can display text in several different languages including alphanumeric codes, English, Spanish, Italian, German, and French. There is a quick start menu on the monitor that will let the user alter the linear deceleration, the minimum and maximum speeds, the current limits, the I/R compensation rate, and can alter the jog speed (including the deceleration and acceleration rates.)
