About the 400FR4041

400FR4041 is a 460 VAC regenerative FlexPak 3000 drive controller that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. This drive has a rated horsepower of 400 HP, unless a conversion kit is applied, in which case the rated horsepower is cut in half.The rated field current is 15, the full load rated DC armature current is 640, and the full load RMS AC line current is 567. Two or more motors can run on the controller. When all connected motors need to start and stop at the same time, the sum of the sine wave currents of all the motors must be less than or equal to the maximum current rating of the controller. When one or more motors needs to start or stop independently of the other motor(s), the sum of the sine wave currents of all the motors connected continuously on the output of the controller and the locked rotor sine wave current of any motor(s) which is(are) to start and stop independently must be less than or equal to the maximum current rating of the controller.

Installing the drive requires selecting the controller’s enclosure location, which must be a clean and dry area away from construction and corrosive materials. For controllers installed above 3300 feet, derate by 4% for every additional 1000 feet. For installations above 5000 feet, please contact AX Control for instructions. The location where the controller is installed must be properly ventilated and allow for adequate heat dissipation. The door and other components of the controller must not hinder service access.
