The 60FN4021 is a 60 HP FlexPak 3000 Non-Regenerative DC Drive. It was produced by Reliance Electric and possibly sold by Baldor Reliance and/ or ABB. Reliance has discontinued this line of products, but AX Control still tries to keep the 60FN4021 in stock as a refurbished or new surplus part.
The 60FN4021 is a 460 volt, 50/60 Hz drive that has 2 cycles of frequency variation that is nominal. It has 86 amps of RMS AC line current this is full load rated and a maximum 10 kiloamps AC fault current that is symmetrical. It has a 75 KVA minimum source. A maximum of 3 drives can be on a transformer at any given moment. It has a 500 VDC armature voltage and a 300 VDC field voltage. It can maintain a full load overload capacity for 1 minute at 150% capacity. The drive can use a motor amp measurement and/or a full load motor rated amp parameter entry to have an internal inverse time thermal overload function.
