Product Description

The 60FR4042 is a 60HP 460 VAC 50/60 Hz Regenerative FlexPak 3000 Drive. It was originally designed by Reliance Electric but could have also been sold by Baldor Reliance or ABB.

The 60FR4042 is rated 500 VDC armature with a 300 VDC field. It has a full load EMS AC line current of 86. It has a 100 full load rated DC armature current. It has a 15 rated field current. This drive is 270.5mm wide, 477.3 mm tall, and is 310.6 mm deep. It weighs approximately 26.4 kg. This system has an AC line voltage variation of +/-10%.  There can be a maximum of 3 drives per transformer. The displacement power factor when going at max speed is 88%. The typical efficiency of this drive including the motor is 87%. It has a maximum load of 150% for a total of 1 minute and for 5 seconds it can sustain a 200% load.

The 60FR4042 has a standard chassis type enclosure. It is not NEMA rated. It has a keypad that is used to set drive parameters and display error codes. It has the power to set up the drive, monitoring the dive operation, and performing diagnostics.  The display can be set to show text in 5 different languages that include English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. It has a series of indicators that include drive faults, drive alarms, drive read, drive running, the current/torque limits, and the interlocks ok. The keypad can also set a quick-start sequence that can setup the drive quickly.
