About the 75FR4042

The 75FR4042 module is a DC drive that was made for the FlexPak 3000 line of drives, which is a series that Reliance Electric was responsible for creating. The 75FR4042 DC drive will usually be found inside of our inventory here at AX Control, but you can check on our website or over the phone if we have it currently in stock.

In order to utilize the 75FR4042 DC drive to its fullest potential, you will need to have an additional product in the FlexPak 3000 series. This product is the 916FK0200 conversion kit, which enables the 75FR4042 DC drive and similar FlexPak 3000 drives to switch between 230 VAC and 460 VAC input voltages. Doing this will enable the 75FR4042 DC drive to access different horsepower and current ratings, which will be useful when switching between different applications that may require more or less power.

The 75FR4042 DC drive is a very large, heavy device that is comprised of numerous parts. There is the operator interface module, otherwise known as OIM, which is made up of an LCD display and a keypad with numerous buttons for navigation of the display and drive functions. There is a housing with three large fuses in it to the right of the OIM. Above this housing, you will find yet another housing with many different electrical parts. To the left of that, there is a large starter kit for the blower motor. This starter kit has its own large fuse, about the same size as the other three mentioned previously.
