The AC Line Disconnect Kit 901FK1111 is an additional feature for the FlexPak 3000 Digital DC Drive. It comes with a NEMA 1 enclosure, a circuit breaker, some wire assemblies, and a mounting hardware. The additional kit for the FlexPak 3000 Digital DC Drive serves as a positive disconnect of all input leads. The kit also comes with a mounting bracket for easy through-the-door operation of the circuit breaker in a NEMA 1 enclosure. The kit also comes with a locking bracket to prevent accidental use of the switch.
The disconnect kit has a standard rating of 35,000 amps at 480 VAC. To comply with NEC codes, the kit is not to be used over 85% of its rated amps. The AC Line Disconnect Kit 901FK1111 applies to drives with 40 to 60 or 75 to 125 HP at 230 / 460 VAC at 250 amps. The disconnect kit also comes with a yellow test button that is used for checking its mechanical operation. The test button causes the circuit breaker to trip. The button is usually at the lower right front or lower left front of the circuit breaker, depending on the model of the disconnect kit. The button is not accessible on a NEMA 1 enclosure.
