Product Description

908FK0021 is a Dynamic Braking Kit that is manufactured by Reliance Electric for their FlexPak 3000 drive series. This specific kit is for 230 VAC drives with a rated horsepower between 1.5 HP and 30 HP. The dynamic braking kit slows down the DC motor in an “uncontrolled” process. The motor armature is disconnected from the drive during this process. A makeshift generator results in a current that causes braking torque in the motor. It is extremely important that the user conform to national, international, and local electrical codes when installing this dynamic braking kit on the FlexPak 3000 drive.
