About the 913FK1500

913FK1500 is a Dynamic Braking Kit that is manufactured by Reliance Electric for their FlexPak 3000 series. This kit is associated with 150 HP drives in this series. Only use this kit with drives that have an input VAC of 460. The control power (115 VAC) that is applied to the contactor of this kit must be continuous. Table 5 in the user instruction manual lists the VA inrush requirements. DB resistors must be installed in an enclosure or with adequate clearance from other parts in the kit, as they heat up during dynamic braking. Once the dynamic braking kit is installed, the dynamic braking function must be tested. Turn on the drive power to test the dynamic braking function.
