About the 915FK0101
915FK0101 is an AutoMax Network Communication Option Board that is designed to be used with Reliance Electric FlexPak 3000 DC Drives. This board allows the user to operate and monitor the drive over the AutoMax network. With this network, the drive can be completely controlled (i.e. start, stop, reset, reference changes, parameter modification, and drive monitoring). The hardware and software options available for this option board include the 75 Ohm Terminating Load, the AutoMax Processor, the AutoMax Programming Executive, the Communications Passive Tap, the Control and Configuration Software, the AutoMax Network Communications Module, the Network Drop Cable, and the ReSource Interface Cable.
This option board connects to the drive’s Regulator board via a ribbon cable and mounts inside of the FlexPak 3000 drive. A microprocessor contained within the board connects to one port of the board’s dual-port memory. The other port of the dual-port memory interfaces with the drive’s Regulator board. Do not attempt to install the option board with power connected to the drive. Incoming power poses an electrical risk to the user that can be avoided by turning off, locking out, and tagging said power. When connecting the drive to an AutoMax network, stop any application tasks that are running. Connect to the Communications Passive Tap with the Network Drop Cable. For full network communication connections on FlexPak 3000 drives, the drive occupies four sequential network drops. The user must assign a valid AutoMax network drop number to the drive using parameter NETW DROP NUMBER (P.900).
